Welcome to Pheromone Reviews! If you are looking for accurate information regarding currently available pheromone products, or are just curious as to how, why, and to what extent pheromones aid folks in attraction of the opposite sex, then Pheromone Reviews is the right place for you! 

A little history if I may. I started out completely ignorant about the world of pheromones back in December of 2007. Being a curious type of guy I decided to conduct some extensive research on pheromones, and various pheromone products then currently available. My research included reading numerous clinical studies then available online as well as reading various individual pheromone product reviews.

In the interest of full disclosure, I will freely admit that when I started my research I truly didn’t believe that pheromones did much of anything at all, I believed that it was all hype! But I decided to try to be impartial and objective before I then preceeded to write my damning pheromone reviews regarding the whole world of pheromones for sexual attraction!

I quickly ran into two major hurdles while conducting my research, while evaluating the available clinical research available at the time, I ran into clearly conflicting information! Not what I expected at all to say the least. 

The problem with the scientific study of pheromones, as they may or may not affect human beings was startling. Quite simply, science had not at the time really devoted it’s full attention, nor research dollars to conclusively prove whether or not pheromones truly affect human behavior or not! There was much theory out there, some maintaining that pheromones do affect human behavior, while certain other studies theorized that they no longer do play a significant role in attraction.

I determined after much reading and research, and I mean alot, that there were essentially two primary schools of thought so far as the scientific community was concerned regarding pheromones.

The 1st School of Thought: 

“They simply do not know. There are insufficient clinical studies specific to human beings available, to declare one way or the other that pheromones still affect human behavior and sexuality.”

The 2nd School of Thought:

“Pheromones do affect certain people, but we don’t conlusively know to what extent, nor why some people respond to them, and other seemingly do not.”

Essentially, this was the bottomline so far as clinical researchers were concerned back in December of 2007, regarding pheromones and they’re role in human attraction. Needless to say, the available published information at the time did NOT satisfy me, nor really answer my question, as a matter of fact it raised more questions for me! 

I think we have to face facts here, human beings are very complex animals, and scientific to actually rise to the coveted level of scientific “proof” will take some time. There is currently a healthy body of scientific theory, which strongly suggests that pheromones still play a role in attraction, but it is still considered theory, and not conclusive evidence at this time. Further research, and time of course, may or may not change on this matter, but as of now it is what it is.

Pheromone Reviews? So do pheromones work or not?

Since I clearly was not satisfied by what I learned during my research, nor was I satisfied by what I read published be a great number of pheromone marketers, many of whom I was quite convinced had never even used a pheromone product in there lives, I opted to do the next best thing!

I decided to conduct my own empirical evaluation of various pheromone products to determine for myself if they actually did anything at all, or not!

Quite simply, I used the “empirical” scientific method of evaluation in an effort to answer my own questions independently. The empirical method is nothing more than an evaluation;

“depending upon experience or observation alone, without using scientific method or theory, esp. as in medicine.”

This was not rocket science. In lay persons terms, I bought the stuff, I put the stuff on me, and then I walked around in the real world, while observing and documenting the reactions, or lack of reactions I received from others. 

So what did these field tests and pheromone reviews reveal?

When I started this particular site I decided not to draw conclusions for the prospective reader or researcher. I truly believe most folks are intelligent enougth to read what is available and draw there own conclusions without being persuaded or marketed to. 

This blog will simply make available the results of my numerous field tests concerning various pheromone products, the reader can make up their own mind as to the effectiveness of any given pheromone product. I will say this, unlike many other pheromone reviews that I have read on the net, you will not find the normal hype here, but only documentation of my actual field tests converted to blog posts.

What this means is that I will not pimp a pheromone cologne or pheromone perfume because it is popular, or well known, or because it costs the most! I’ve seen this stuff go on all over the internet. You will find favourable reviews of some little known pheromones, as well as some truly damning reviews on some very popular and well known pheromones, my only criteria for judging a pheromone products is, did it work, did it work well, or not?

The truth of the matter is, that many, many pheromones, including well known pheromones did not make the cut at all! They will not be spared the wraith of my pen. The ones that seemed to work, will be appropriately ranked and their effectiveness documented, as well as the ones that did not seem to work, and honestly, more of those field tested did not seem to work at all!
